The Kindle Touch is better than this model. It has more meormy(you can have up to 3,000 books vs 1,400) and it has two months of battery life(compared to one month). The Touch model also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and two speakers. If you want to compare the devices even more, go to amazon's website. If you have not yet bought any amazon books, I would recommend you buy a nook. The nook's library is twice as large, and whats the point of an e-reader if you can't find the book you want
