A synchronized double video projection presents two characters differentiated by the colours of
their t-shirts, red and blue. On one screen, the character anxiously waits, listening for her cue. On
other screen, the character simultaneously draws and presents a blackboard diagram. The two
characters shift positions, waiting and interjecting, depending on which projected space they occupy.
Upon the blackboard a diagrammatic drawing of identity theories unfolds. In a didactic exercise
of incongruous references, ranging from the Enlightenment individual to the Post-modern
subject, these characters attempt to find the ultimate representation of the notion of identity;
resulting in a theory based on the imagining of multiple personalities.
