JCE Biennial 2011/2013’s selection : LITHUANIA.

Each Friday, discover the artistic selection of the JCE Biennial 2011/2013, country by country. This week: the Lithuanian selection..

The selection of Lithuanian artists was conducted in spring 2011, while an exhibition at the Center of Art in Klaipeda.

The procedure, which was diffused online, brought more than 200 candidates. Twenty artists have been selected to participate to a national exhibition, chaired by the curator Goda Giedraityte. Finally, the curator selected the eight most promising artists to participate at the JCE Biennial 2011/2013:
