A new partnership has just been launched in the JCE network:

The city of HEERLEN in Holland, Maastricht’s region, which is very dynamic in contemporary arts, will join the next JCE partners’ network as invited city.  The curator Stijn Huijts, director of the SCHUNCK museum,  will select 8 artists which will be presented in Montrouge in the opening exhibition of the next biennial. The invitation prepares the integration of Heerlen among the network of JCE partner countries for 2013.

The partner museum will be the SCHUNCK contemporary art museum, presenting a wide range of art languages, from fine arts to architecture to music, animating Heerlen and its surroundings with high-quality exhibitions:
